According to reports, Intel’s 12th-generation Core Alder Lake-S will adopt a new large and small core design, using an enhanced version of the 10nm SuperFin process . Intel will also release 600 series motherboards with LGA 1700 slots and support for DDR5 memory.
Naijatechnews recently reported that the foreign media VideoCardz said that Intel confirmed that the 11th generation desktop Core (Rocket Lake) is shipping, and the 12th generation Core (Alder Lake) is sampling. Intel also confirmed that the desktop and mobile Alder Lake series will undergo production verification in the second half of 2021. This means that production may start immediately after verification.
Intel’s 12th generation Core Alder Lake has now appeared in the sisoftware database. The data shows that this Intel 12th-generation Core Alder Lake has 16 cores, 1.8-4GHz, 30MB L3 cache; equipped with 32GB DDR5-4800 memory; the core display is 32EU (256 stream processors), and the GPU frequency is 1.5GHz.
Naijatechnews learned that at the CES conference, Intel stated that the next-generation processor “Alder Lake” represents a major breakthrough in the x86 architecture and is also Intel’s most scalable system-on-chip. It will be available in the second half of 2021. Alder Lake supports the integration of high-performance cores and energy-efficient cores into a single product. Alder Lake will also be Intel’s first processor based on a new enhanced version of 10nm SuperFin technology, and will serve as the basis for leading desktop and mobile processors.
