Meta Quest users will use the YouTube app to watch various 360-degree VR videos. Currently, a third-party developer has launched a new version called “Moon Player” for Apple’s Vision Pro headset. The application, which sells for $5, claims to bypass platform restrictions and allows Vision Pro to watch YouTube 360-degree VR videos.
However, the current application is not fully functional. Users need to manually select the correct format for the video (VR180/VR360/panoramic video) before they can watch related VR content.
In addition to playing YouTube VR videos, the app can also play local VR video content, supporting up to 12K resolution videos .
