Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Got BIS Certification, Hinting At Launch In India

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 went on sale in China on May 31. In the past three weeks, the fitness tracker has managed to ship over 1 million units, breaking a new record. But again, it sold so many units being available in its homeland only. Well, this is going to be fixed soon.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 has passed BIS certification, indicating that it will land in India soon. Notably, the Xiaomi fitness band may debut under the name “Xiaomi Band 7”.

Prior to this, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 received multiple certifications and was spotted on the NCC and IMDA websites. Thus, our protagonist will hit the European market in the coming weeks. Moreover, we learned that the fitness tracker will cost between 50 euros and 60 euros.

Getting back to the Indian launch of the Mi Band 7, a whistleblower Mukul Sharma spotted its model number M2129B1 on the BIS certification website. Unfortunately, the BIS listing doesn’t reveal any key details about the device. Also, we can see that there will be no NFC version, only the vanilla version. this makes sense because there are not many scenarios in which the NFC version can be fully used in India.
