Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch may happen later than expected, here’s why

Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch timeline

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series will likely be the first significant smartphone series to be released globally in 2023. As per tipster Anthony (TheGalox_)’s version, the company has not been able to settle on a definitive Samsung Galaxy S23 price structure for the upcoming lineup, and hence the Galaxy S23 release date has been pushed out to anywhere between the middle and the end of February.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series features (expected)

Samsung is expected to incorporate the innovative Satellite Communication feature into the forthcoming Galaxy S23 series, as per a recent report. The feature was initially seen in Apple iPhone 14 series. It allows users to use the Emergency SOS via satellite to text emergency services when there is no cellular and Wi-Fi coverage. According to reports, Samsung and Iridium Communications are collaborating to equip the Galaxy S23 with a comparable satellite communication system.

In terms of chipset, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 globally. It is also rumoured to come with 25W fast charging support. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may come with a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. There might feature a 40MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

In October, Ross Young, the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series may come in Black, Beige, Green, and Light Pink colour options. However, it hasn’t been confirmed by the company.
