Samsung Galaxy S23 FE grabs April 2024 security update

Samsung has begun rolling out the April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, following the One UI 6.1 release. The new update enhances the system’s security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience.

April 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is currently available in Europe and users can identify it through One UI build version S711BXXS2CXD1. This update includes the latest Android security patch.

The latest update is based on One UI 6.1, which means those who received and installed the major One UI version will get this April 2024 patch. This is just a security patch and its changelog does not contain any new features or changes. But it fixes issues that users encountered in the previous version.

April 2024 security patch includes critical fixes for vulnerabilities identified by Google and Samsung, addressing a total of 1 critical and 26 high-level CVEs, as well as 17 SVE items.

Users can check new software updates manually on their devices with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
