Samsung Galaxy S22 at Verizon gets 2nd March 2024 update, One UI 6.1 next?

April 2024 is going on and Samsung has pushed the second March 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in the US. The update is rolling out for locked models on the Verizon network carrier.

The latest update improves system security and stability to provide a better experience. In addition, it mends some issues that users encountered in the first March update. However, there’s no new feature or change noted.

The second March 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones on Verizon US can be identified through One UI build versions S901USQS4DXCK, S906USQS4DXCK, and S908USQS4DXCK respectively.

You can check and install the update through Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install. If your Galaxy S22 received the update, install it to get an enhanced experience.

One UI 6.1 

Some reports revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series along with Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones will get One UI 6.1 update next week, maybe on April 10. The testing of the major update is still underway for the Galaxy S22 series and the company will release it soon. If you are using a Galaxy S22  series smartphone, keep your eyes on the update notification.
