Editor proofing checks for spelling and grammatical errors when a user writes a message on the Outlook web client. This is a feature that Outlook on other major platforms already offers. While Microsoft has not explained how proofing will work, it will likely work the same way as other Outlook clients.

Currently, Outlook on macOS and Windows supports checking for spelling and grammar errors, underlined with red wavy lines and double blue lines, respectively . By right-clicking on the line, you can see corrections that users may have made in their writing. You can also incorporate these suggestions into your writing, or ignore them entirely. In all likelihood, this is also expected to work on Outlook Web.
