Apple allows Facebook to use Facebook Pay on iOS for a limited time

NTN News, September 26 According to Mspoweruser, Facebook previously accused Apple of not promoting the development of small businesses because the latter prevented them from using Facebook’s paid activity platform to expand their business to online activities. Facebook has promised zero interest rate processing on this service to help small businesses, but Apple still intends to charge them a 30% Apple tax.

Apple has been under tremendous pressure in many ways. Today Facebook announced that Apple will allow Facebook to use its Facebook Pay service on iOS for a limited time :

Facebook spokesperson Joe Osborne told TechCrunch:

“This is a difficult time for small businesses and creators, which is why we don’t charge any fees for paid online activities. Apple has agreed to provide a short three-month buffer period, after which struggling businesses will Had to pay Apple the entire 30% App Store tax again.”

However, this rule does not apply to online games on the Facebook platform. Facebook Games Vice President Vivek Sharma said: “It’s a pity that we have to make this concession to not temporarily suspend other businesses.”

Naija Tech News has learned that Apple is currently the richest listed company with a global market value of more than $2.1 trillion. Apple has already been “struggled” by companies such as Microsoft and Google in cloud subscription games, and is currently in a lawsuit with Epic Games, while Apple is still under increasing scrutiny by regulators.
