While we are still busy welcoming the new Windows 11, the reliable tipster Evan Blass via Twitter, shared a couple of official-looking renders of upcoming foldables from Samsung– the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 Renders Leaked
In response to a Twitter user’s tweet, Evan Blass shared the renders of the upcoming devices. Some minutes later, he revealed a render of the Z Fold3 with S Pen. Based on the the renders, it seems like the Z Fold3 will carry the legacy of the Note series forward. The images tease the Z Fold3 in Black color and the Flip 3 in Gold color variant.
Taking a closer look at the Z Fold3’s render, you will notice that the S Pen has the text “Fold Edition” etched on it. This also corroborates earlier rumors suggesting that Samsung will add S Pen support to Galaxy Z Fold3. It’s still unclear if the Z Fold3 will have a dedicated slot to house the S Pen. Chances are, it will be an optional accessory that will require a dedicated case.
Moving to the backside of the device, the Z Fold3 has a vertically aligned triple camera system. Several reports have claimed that the Z Fold3 will be Samsung’s first device to feature an in-display camera. However, the image clearly shows a selfie camera punch-hole like the last year’s Galaxy Z Fold2. The new model appears to be slimmer than the predecessor, but the exact dimensions are not known yet.
Now, talking about the Galaxy Z Flip3, there’s little to talk about from the leaked image. We see that the clamshell foldable now has a large outer display with a two-tone aesthetic. Plus, the cameras are now vertically stacked next to the cover display. According to another tipster Jon Prosser, Samsung will unveil the next generation of its foldables devices on August 3, so stay tuned for more updates.
