You might have been wondering why a phone carries many names? Well, that answer can only be given by the maker. The new Redmi Note 10T carries three names. The new device is the same phone sold as the Redmi Note 10 5G in Europe and as the POCO M3 Pro in other markets including Russia!
So far, the Redmi Note 10 series includes The Redmi Note 10, Note 10S, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro, Note 10 Pro Max, Note 10 Pro 5G and Note 10T. The latter is only available in China but will reach other markets as POCO X3 GT soon. The Redmi Note 10 5G isn’t available in all markets.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G is reaching Russia with a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD with 2,400 x 1,080-pixel resolution (FHD+) and a 90 Hz refresh rate. This panel supports an adaptive refresh rate. The software can dynamically switch between 30, 50, 60, and 90 Hz depending on the content appearing on the screen. There is also a punch-hole cutout in the center serving as a home for the selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. This is an Octa-Core chip featuring two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz plus six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. The chip is aided by a Mali G57 GPU that takes care of all graphics duties. The handset has 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 64 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs Android 11 straight out of the box with MIUI 12 on top.
As for the cameras, the Redmi Note 10T Packs a 48MP triple rear camera setup. It sits alongside a LED flash on the back. The primary 48 MP camera on the smartphone sits alongside a 2 MP macro, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Moving to the front, it features an 8 MP shooter for selfies, and video calls.
The Redmi Note 10T draws power from a huge 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. It also packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-res audio certification. Furthermore, it comes with an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C charging port.
In terms of connectivity, though, the chipset is a 5G processor but the phone supports only 4G network and below. It features Dual SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, AGPS, Galileo, and GLONASS. It also supports NFC.
