The Nokia C21 is a more affordable version, with the same 6.5-inch display (720 x 1,600 px) and metal frame and tempered glass. However, the phone doesn’t have an official IP rating.
Naijatechnews learned that the phone uses the same UNISOC chipset, but the memory capacity options are limited to 2GB or 3GB, the storage space is also 32GB or 64GB, and the dedicated microSD slot is the same as the 2-year security patch commitment.
One of the main differences is the battery, the C21 only has a 3000mAh battery capacity, which is even 25% less than the lower capacity version of the C21 Plus. In addition, the machine only supports 5W charging (and comes with a 5W charger and microUSB cable).
The Nokia C21’s main camera has also been downgraded to 8 megapixels, but the selfie camera remains at 5 megapixels, with both face and fingerprint unlocking.
The Nokia C21 and C21 Plus will be launched soon, and the official price and specific launch date have not yet been announced.
