According to Reuters, LinkedIn’s high-end subscription service revenue in 2023 will reach US$1.7 billion (IT House note: currently about 12.24 billion yuan), which is also the highest revenue since Microsoft in 2016. Relevant data was disclosed for the first time after the acquisition.
The company previously disclosed that revenue in fiscal 2023 was US$15 billion, of which US$7 billion came from the sale of recruitment software to corporate recruiters.
LinkedIn COO Dan Shapero said in an interview that the number of people purchasing premium subscription services will increase by 25% in 2023, but he did not provide the exact number of LinkedIn users. These plans start at $39.99 per month.
Shapero said that 70% of paying users have used AI tools, and 90% of users find these tools useful. He added:
What we do know is that due to uncertainty in the overall economy, some people are trying to make sure they can get the best job possible, and they’re excited about what AI can do.
