Last year, Apple hits the 5G smartphone market with its first 5G-enabled phone lineup, and of course this is expected to continue with its upcoming models. According to reports from Nikkei Asia, all iPhones in the next year’s lineup will support 5G network. This also includes a redesigned entry-level iPhone SE with the A15 chipset and 5G connectivity.
Next iPhone SE will reportedly retain its 4.7-inch LCD panel and still maintains the same iPhone 8 style chassis and is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.
Apple will also carry on with its iPhone mini by 2022 despite its disappointing sales throughout the past year. A mini is still expected to be released in this fall. Looking into the 2021 iPhone lineup, Nikkei Asia reports that Apple may bring a more affordable 6.7-inch non-Pro model. The second half of 2021 is also expected to bring new MacBook Pros and AirPods.
