HP Elite Folio 2-in-1 notebook: equipped with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2

HP will release the new Elite Folio notebook at CES 2021, equipped with a reversible screen, more suitable for handwriting operations.

Now, the HP Elite Folio notebook has appeared on the Geekbench website, showing that it is equipped with Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor.

As shown in the figure above, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor on the HP Elite Folio notebook has 8 cores and the frequency reaches 3.15GHz. The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 on the HP Elite Folio notebook has 793 points for single-core and 3088 points for multi-core, which is lower than Intel’s 4-core ultra-low voltage processor i7-1160G7, and far lower than Apple M1.

Naija Tech News understands that  Elite Folio is positioned as a business book, and its original intention is to conduct touch operations and use a stylus in a more humane way . This notebook has a compact design, the surface is made of artificial leather, and the notebook has a built-in stylus. From the appearance point of view, the screen frame of the HP Elite Folio is very narrow, with a USB-C port and a headphone port on the right. This product is expected to be released at CES 2021.
