1. Visit the official website of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
2. Once you are there, the next thing to do is to click on MyNSFAS account under For “Students & Learners:” option at the upper left side of your computer. From there, you will need to log in using your ID and password that you created when you applied.
3. Once you are on your dashboard, if you see something like “Provisionally Funded” as the status of your application, then you may have to contact Unisa’s Division: Student Funding (DSF).
Depending on the outcome, you may also have to contact the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. This is because they are the ones responsible for the application process of everyone.

4. However, if you find out that the status of your application reads declined or unsuccessful, a number of reasons could be adduced to that. But then, if you are not comfortable with the rejection, there is always permission to appeal the decision.
In this case, you will be required to file an appeal form, which is available on the official website of NSFAS for review by the appeals committee.

To avoid any form of embarrassment that may occur when your loan time expires, I will advise that you make some savings while schooling just to get the money ready before time. However, don’t fail to take your studies seriously as that’s the most important.
