Have you activated Disney + but did not like the service and want to cancel ? There is nothing simpler, here are the steps to follow to cancel your Disney + subscription and possibly also to cancel your account.
Cancel your subscription
You should know that you can cancel your Disney + membership at any time. What does it mean? That you can, for example, create a new account and immediately unsubscribe. In this case, you can still enjoy the month you paid for. You can in fact proceed with the payment of the € 6.99 provided and cancel immediately. This will disable the automatic renewal and still be able to enjoy a month of Disney +.
That said, let’s see how you can unsubscribe from Disney + from browsers and other devices. First, go to the home of the service if you are from a browser. Otherwise, open the app if you are on a smart TV, smartphone or other compatible device. We now need to access the profile settings. Warning: in the profiles for Children the settings are disabled. From the browser, the settings are accessible at the top right, by pressing the profile icon . On the mobile applications at the bottom left. In the list that appears, look for the Account item and press it.
You will be faced with a summary screen like this one. At this point you have to click on Billing information . If you are from a mobile app you will be redirected to your default browser where you will be asked to log in with your access credentials. Here you will have to press again on Account Management and then on Billing Information .
From the Billing Information screen, you will see the type of subscription you have activated (monthly or yearly) and the next billing date. The screen looks very similar regardless of what your target platform is. At this point we just have to press the Cancel subscription button .
At this point, a large red button appears with the words COMPLETE CANCELLATION . Disney + reminds us, as we already mentioned, that the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you have activated the free week or paid a month of account then, you can continue to use them without contraindications. If you have second thoughts, just press NO, GO BACK .
How to cancel your Disney + account
Canceling your Disney + account is a bit more complicated procedure that requires access to a browser. We therefore recommend that you proceed from a PC. To start, connect to the official Disney Privacy page that you can find by following this link . Here you will be prompted to login with your credentials by clicking on Login With Your Account .
You will be redirected to the newsletter management page . It is not what interests us. You have to click on My Account which you find at the top right. A summary screen will appear in front of you with all the data you have provided to Disney. Scrolling down, at the bottom you will find Delete Account with the related explanation of what it entails. At the bottom of the description you will find the link in blue Delete Account . Press us and follow any directions provided by Disney!
