In the latest Canary preview version of the Windows version of the Chrome browser, Google has added a brand new “Sharing Center” component to it, integrating various web sharing methods into one place .
According to a foreign media Windows Latest report, the “Sharing Center” of the Google Chrome browser is called “Desktop Sharing Hub”. When the experimental option is enabled, a “+” sign will be displayed in the browser address bar , which integrates a copy link , QR code sharing, page saving, media playback and other sharing methods.
This feature is similar to the “Sharing Center” in the Microsoft Edge browser. The Microsoft Edge browser uses the sharing interface of Win10, and the integrated content is more linked with Win10 applications. In terms of function, the “sharing center” of the Chrome browser is more general and portable.
Naijatechnews understands that to enable this feature, users need to search for “Desktop Sharing Hub in Omnibox” in Chrome://flags, then change the option to enabled, and finally restart the browser to experience it.
