Xiaomi 12S Launched, Specs And Price

After so much hype, leaks and speculations, the Xiaomi 12S series is finally official in China. The lineup comprises a standard, Pro, and Ultra variant. The latest offering in the Xiaomi 12S series join the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro that was launched last year December. The Xiaomi 12S Pro is the more premium offering among the standard and Pro variants.

Xiaomi 12S Unveiled With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor

The Xiaomi 12S features a 6.28-inch screen that offers an AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the photography front, the Xiaomi 12S is equipped with Leica-branded rear cameras. It includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel telemacro unit. For selfies, you will get a 32MP front-facing snapper.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12S is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. The smartphones also comes with 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 12S comes with other common features that includes an under-display fingerprint scanner, Gorilla Glass Victus protection on front and rear, Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, IR blaster, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
