Tecno Spark 8T Price, Specs and Availability

Tecno Spark 8 Pro is a more premium variant of the Spark 8. It features bigger display than all members of the Spark 8 series, great for watching movies and browsing the web. Tecno Spark 8 Pro also features a decent camera and an impressive 5000 mAh battery. 

Design and Display

The rear design of the Tecno Spark 8 Pro is very similar to the Spark 8P. You get the same smooth elevated top quarter housing the three rear cameras and LED flash with the rest of the back wavy.

There is however, a small difference between the two looking from the front. The front is still covered in protective glass, but rather than the dewdrop notch for the selfie camera as in the 8P, the 8 Pro features an infinity O-cutout. Like in the 8P, the fingerprint sensor is also located on the side.

The sides and the back are also all plastic like all other members of the series like the Tecno Spark 8C and Spark 8T. It is available in four colours: Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, Tahiti Gold.

Tecno Spark 8 Pro sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD Display offering FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, and up to 500 nits of brightness.

The Camera

Tecno Spark 8 Pro offers three cameras on the back. You get a 48 megapixels camera, 2 megapixels camera and a QVGA camera. The AI camera delivers decent photography and videos.

The camera features Bokeh effect for blurring out the background and making you the centre of attraction as well as Panoramic shooting, 2k time lapse photography, and HDR. You also get slow motion capability with up to 240 fps recording.

It also offers better low light performance. The affordable android phone features an 8 megapixels camera in the front.

Hardware and Software

Tecno Spark 8 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85. The octa-core processor offers two clusters consisting of a dual-core Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz.

This solid chipset will ensure your apps loads fast. Multi-tasking should also be smooth. The smartphone features 4GB, or 6GB RAM with an option of 64GB or 128GB built-in storage.

Tecno Spark 8 Pro runs on Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 interface. You get a clean UI design and smart switch to Dark mode. It also features a Kids mode to help you with tracking your kid’s online activities.

This Tecno phone packs a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery, which offers a solid battery life. This can offer a full day use without needing to charge. It also the only member of the Spark 8 series with fast charging. It supports up to 33W fast charge capacity, offering almost 90% of full charge in an hour of charging.

Connectivity

The smartphone packs dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. It is also the only member of the Spark 8 series to feature a USB Type C port (USB 2.0). You also get Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi.

Tecno Spark 8 Pro price in Ghana starts at around 1,190 GHS. The Tecno Spark 8 Pro costs around 9,999 INR in India, 75,000 Naira in Nigeria, and 14,600 KES in Kenya.

The 4G phone was announced on December 29, 2021, and was at stores from January 4, 2022.
