Design

The HONOR X6a comes with an eye-catching design that blends aesthetics with practicality. Its sleek, straight edges not only lend it a premium look but also ensure a comfortable grip when held. It is impressively slim, measuring just 8.4mm in thickness, and incredibly lightweight, weighing only 188g. This slim and lightweight profile enhances the phone’s portability and ensures a comfortable and ergonomic user experience.

Additionally, the HONOR X6a features a triple-camera setup on the rear. This camera array is neatly arranged in the top left-hand corner. It has a shiny glossy finish that separate it from the  main aesthetics. It also includes the LED flash sitting beside the camera lens. This device is available in two stylish colors: Midnight Black for a classic appearance and Sky Silver for a touch of elegance.

The smartphone also boasts a 6.56-inch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring a responsive and visually pleasing user experience. The waterdrop notch design  also host the front facing camera.

While the pixel density is not exceptionally high, the inclusion of a 90Hz refresh rate enhances the overall display performance, making for smoother animations and interactions. Under the hood, the HONOR X6a is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor, built on a 12nm process. This chipset features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz, which provides plenty of power for everyday use and light gaming.

It shares the same processor as the Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus, the Redmi A2 and the Poco C51. In terms of graphics, the Helio G36 comes with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU, which is suitable for basic gaming and multimedia tasks. This smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Furthermore, there is a 5200 mAh battery to power this Honor phone. The battery supports fast charging up to 22.5W, which allows the device to be charged quickly. Meanwhile, the HONOR X6a runs on the Android 13 OS coupled with the latest iteration of Honor’s custom software, Magic OS 7.1 on top.
