Honor Play 6T Price, Specs & Availability

Honor has unveiled two new smartphones under the Honor Play series. The models are the Honor Play 6T and Play 6T Pro.

The Honor Play 6T series comes with a spectacular feature which is the smart storage expansion technology. This feature allows for RAM expansion by up to 2GB bringing up to 10GB of available RAM. Also, the entire Play 6T series is equipped with exclusive self-developed cache compression technology, which enables the expanded 2GB to achieve 3 times expansion, making 2GB equivalent to achieving a 6GB expansion effect. This effectively improves the cold start speed of apps and the hardware background keep-alive rate.

Honor Play 6T launched

The Honor Play 6T is equipped with a 6.74-inch dot notch display, which also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is slightly thicker at 8.62mm and weighs 198 grams.

In other aspects, the vanilla Play 6T packs a large 5000mAh battery that supports 22.5W super fast charging. This explains why it weighs more than the Play6T Pro.

In terms of photography, the Honor Play6T packs a 5-megapixel front camera while at the rear, there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel lens combination.

The phone runs on MagicUI 5.0 based on Android 12.

Honor Play 6T Price and Availability

On its part, the Honor Play 6T 8GB+128GB version is pricedat 1199 yuan and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 1399 yuan. The models will go on sale from April 15.

It is available in Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, and Titanium Air Silver color options.
