How to Cancel Automatic Payments in PayPal
To cancel a recurring payment on PayPal, you need to log into your account from a browser. If you haven’t already, be sure to set up two-factor authentication to make the login process more secure.
On the main menu, click the gear icon on the right to access your account settings.
Next, click on the Payments on the submenu that will appear below the main one.
To see your recurring payments, click on Manage automatic payments.
On the next page, you should see all the automatic payments on the left. Make sure you’ve selected Show Active, so you can only see the current payments you’re making.
Click on the payment you wish to stop to review its details. These will appear on the right. Take a look at its Status, which will be Active by default, and click on the Cancel button.
PayPal will now ask you to confirm your decision. Click on Cancel Automatic Payments to stop making payments to the service provider.
Once you’ve confirmed you want to cancel the payment, PayPal will process its cancellation. It’s worth noting that this will usually cancel the subscription you were paying for if you have no other payment method, though it’s best to close your account with the subscription too.
Now You Can Cancel Automatic PayPal Payments
Automatic payments are a great way to stay on top of bills and subscriptions, and PayPal allows you to set them up and manage them easily. And the beauty about it is that the online payment platform will enable you to cancel them easily.
