ASUS launches ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook with first Intel Meteor Lake processor.
ASUS recently issued a press release to launch the ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus Enterprise (CX5403),This is the first Chromebook equipped with Intel Meteor Lake.
Asus has not officially announced the launch date of this Chromebook, but given that Intel’s 14th generation U-series chips will not be shipped until early next year, it will be available in early 2024 at the earliest.
Intel Meteor Lake-U TDP is 15W and includes 2 high-performance CPU cores, 8 efficiency cores and 2 low-power efficiency cores, and is also equipped with 4 Intel Xe core graphics.
ASUS ExpertBook CX54 is equipped with a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2560*1600 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Naijatechnews noted: In terms of ports, it is equipped with 2 ThunderBolt 4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 2 USB Type-A ports, and 1 MicroSD card reader.
The ASUS ExpertBook CX54 supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, has a 63Wh battery, Harman Kardon-certified stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a backlit keyboard.
The ASUS ExpertBook CX54 can be connected to up to 3 external displays, is MIL-STD-810H tested, is less than 17mm (0.66 inches) thick, and the laptop comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X-6400 memory and a 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD.
