New dual-core CPU, new Surface Go is expected to be equipped
According to the news broke @APISAK, a Pentium Gold 7505 mobile processor from Intel has now appeared on the Geekbench 5 running sub-platform, powered by an HP flipbook.
The exposed data shows that the Intel Pentium Gold 7505 has 2 cores and 4 threads, 2.0-3.5GHz, and the L3 cache is 4MB. It is worth mentioning that there is no Y/U suffix behind this processor .
In comparison, Intel’s Pentium Gold 4425Y released last year has 2 cores and 4 threads, clocked at 1.7GHz, no turbo frequency, and 2MB of L3 cache.
In terms of running points, Intel Pentium Gold 7505 single-core 1093 points, multi-core 2326 points, while Surface Go Pentium Gold 4425Y single-core 400 or so, multi-core close to 1000 points.
