The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite is a more affordable version of the earlier released standard Nubia Red Magic 5G. It opts for an upper mid-range processor, in bid to become a more affordable Android gaming smartphone. This doesn’t totally deter its overall ability of being a capable gaming smartphone, as it packs in features that supports top notch mobile gaming.

Design and Display
The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 5G lite design doesn’t stray far from what saw on its more premium sibling. It features the same glossy design, along side some chassis placements that makes for good gaming ergonomics.
On the rear of this smartphone, you will find a gradient design quad camera, an LED flash and the Nubia branding which somehow indicates its a ZTE smartphone.
Upfront, we have a 6.65 inch AMOLED display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 Pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate which makes the animations a lot smoother, which in turn also helps improve gaming experience.
Helping with game ergomics on this smartphone are air triggers, which helps facilitates more screen real estate since enthusiats won’t have to bother about using controls on the screen.
Camera
The cameras saw a little drop in pixel size, a fact which is evident on primary camera. However enthusiasts are still offered a variety of cameras which will help with top notch mobile photography.

It opts for an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor as opposed to the Snapdragon 865 processor on its more premium sibling. It certainly won’t offer matching performance, but its gonna allow enthusiasts play high-end smartphone games at good frame rates.
Other features facilitating performance on this Android smartphone are an Adren 620 graphics and a non-removable 5100 mAh battery.
Storage and RAM variants have been monopolised, as enthusiasts would be getting only the 8GB RAM / 256GB built in storage combination.
On the software side, we have the Nubia UI 8.0 interface running on the Android 10 operating system.

The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite features a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band wifi and NFC. Please note that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack here, as a result private audio listening is done via USB-C and wireless headphones.
